About our shopping cart

The Golden Dance wants to make it easy for you to pay for your purchase!

Credit Card or Electronic Funds Transfer

VISA, MC, AmEx, Discover
We have implemented a new shopping cart system, called the Mals-e Cart. It is more flexible and robust than the regular PayPal shopping cart we were previously using, allowing us to offer not only more products, but also more types of products.

The Mals-e shopping cart is what's known as a "front end" system that is linked to PayPal. That means that it does all the processing — figuring out shipping costs, taxes, etc. — then passes your order total to PayPal so you can make payment.

Using PayPal as our payment processor allows us to accept credit cards or electronic funds transfer without incurring the high fees needed for a merchant account with a bank or other credit card processor. This cost savings means that we can offer our products and services at reasonable rates.  Lower costs for us mean lower costs for you!

The basic procedure remains the same: simply click on the “Add to Cart” button on the download page for the music you wish to purchase. The shopping cart will walk you through the steps required to pay for the music. Each download page also features a “View Cart” button so you can pay for multiple items with a single transaction. PayPal automatically exchanges international currency to US funds, so it’s a great way for international users to pay.

Note: when you click on either the "Add to Cart" or the "View Cart" buttons, you will be re-directed to our shopping cart. When you are finished shopping, our shopping cart will take you to PayPal. In order to complete your transaction, PayPal will ask you for your PayPal password. Please don't be alarmed when this happens — we at The Golden Dance never see your password!

And remember: if you purchase sheet music or other downloadable products, there is no shipping charge! (California residents will be charged sales tax, though.)

Don't have a PayPal account?

You can still pay with your credit card via PayPal without creating an account, or we also accept good old-fashioned cash and checks! If PayPal isn’t your cup of tea, simply contact us and make arrangements to pay by mail.

About our downloadable sheet music

The Golden Dance store offers sheet music in the standard web publishing format. That means you can download and view the sheet music as a PDF file so you can see the music and determine if you'd like to buy it, but the file is locked so you will not be able to print or modify the file. If you like it and decide to purchase it, you will receive a link to download an un-locked PDF.

You will need PDF reading software in order to see the music. Fortunately, there are many kinds of PDF reading software and most of them are free! Simply do a Google search for “PDF reader” to find software that works for you.

Our sheet music comes with a "Duplication Master" license. This means that you may make as many copies as you need for your particular performance situation. All we ask is that you don't give copies to others with whom you're not performing.

NOTE: In the case of businesses or organizations, use of this music is limited to one physical location and one performing or rehearsing group at a time. As an example, a school district or religious organization (such as diocese or presbytery) may not purchase one copy and then distribute it to all their schools or churches. Each individual school or church needs to buy a copy.

Please see our License Agreement page for more information.
